We booked Mikes place last minute and absolutely loved it! Very convenient to downtown Gatlinburg and had any amenities that were needed. The home was very clean and the host was proactive in making sure we made it in and comfortable. We were amazed at how large the home was once we arrived, all three floors had something to offer. I highly recommend Mikes Place and will stay again the next time we are in town.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Gatlinburg! The location was excellent, close to attractions, restaurants, and everything we needed, yet still peaceful and quiet.
We traveled with kids, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Our children loved the space, and we felt comfortable and safe the entire time.
The house itself is spectacular, cozy, well-equipped, and with beautiful views that made our trip even more special. It truly felt like a home away from home.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to families visiting Gatlinburg!

Wonderful stay! The place was cozy, spotless and exactly as described. Great location, easy check-in, and the host was easy to get in touch with. Hot tub was so worth it! Would definitely stay again!

The best thing about Mike is how proactive and supportive he was at rescheduling us through a snow storm. We purchased travel insurance but it didn't cover the snow that happened on the original weekend we scheduled. We appreciated him so much for that so much so I couldn't say anything bad about him.
The house is on the mountain but it is within very close distance to Gatlinburg. There are very big windows that shine into the living room, making it feel very spacious and inviting. I enjoyed paying Galaga (and I now have the top five scores on the game, ha!)
If I were to go back to the house again, what I would do is bring beach towels for the hot tub. We had one towel and one washcloth per person for three days. The towels were normal sized. Had I known, I would have brought something bigger that I could have used exiting the hot tub.
The hot tub was very clean and regulated to get up to 99 degrees. Being in there and looking up at the stars was very nice.

Adoramos a nossa temporada na cabana. Foi tudo muito lindo e aconchegante! Nosso grupo se sentiu em casa. A vista da cabana simplesmente espetacular, ver a neve caindo foi maravilhoso, o pôr e nascer do sol a cabana tem uma vista privilegiada, realmente estão muitos felizes com nossa viagem e já queremos voltar para explorar mais a região. Obrigada aos anfitriões que nos ajudou tirando nossas dúvidas e dando dicas do que precisávamos. Foram muito atenciosos e preocupados durante todo o tempo que tivemos lá. Até a próxima! 🎉

We had a great time in Gatlinburg! Although the town was extremely busy it was nice to go to the house and get away from the hustle. The house is a 10 Mon walk down to town where you have great restaurants and a lot of things to do but as soon as you get to the house it’s quiet. The hot tub was the highlight for us and we used to 2-3 times a day

Nice, large cabin very close to Gatlinburg. Amenities included a pool table, 2 arcade games in a bedroom set up for kids and a hot tub. With 5 children we were thankful for the games and pool table. We saw bear at the cabin twice each day of our stay so it is extremely important you keep vehicle and cabin doors locked and absolutely no food left in vehicles. One of our vehicles somehow didn’t get locked and we were amazed at how easily the bears were able to open the car doors. (Thankfully no harm to vehicle or bears.) The host was proactive is checking to see if all was as it should be and responded quickly to any correspondence. Would definitely recommend this cabin as well as the host.

We had an incredible experience staying at this cabin in Gatlinburg—definitely a 10/10! The cabin was clean, cozy, and perfectly located for a peaceful mountain getaway.
A special shoutout to Mike, who went above and beyond during our stay. One evening we noticed our vehicle doors had been opened, and Mike quickly reviewed the security camera footage… turns out it was a bear! 🐻 He was super responsive and helpful, and it gave us quite the story to tell.
We felt safe, well taken care of, and had an amazing trip overall. Highly recommend this cabin and would absolutely stay again!
