Other Details to Note

Take advantage of the charcoal grill on the patio, perfect for outdoor cooking. Just bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. The cabin is located in the hills of Chalet Village just above Gatlinburg. This area is known for its wildlife especially black bears. Please do not approach the wildlife and keep car doors and windows closed and locked. The drive to the cabin is on paved roads, with the last 0.5 miles on a narrow road up the hill, suitable for drivers familiar with mountainous roads. The cabin is treated for pests monthly and thoroughly cleaned between guests, but occasional dead bugs may be found. Using the Guest Access Pass you can access 3 community club houses with pools, tennis and pickleball courts, exercise equipment and more. Failure to return the pass will result in $50 fee to have it replaced. Enjoy the ultimate outdoor experience!

Stayed with family and friends. Perfect ammount of space. Easy to get to the cabin and easy to get in. The pool table and hot tub got a ton of use. Tons of bear activity which was fun for the kids to see! Mike was super responsive and friendly.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and exceeded all our expectations. The pool table in the living room was a perfect centerpiece for family fun and quality time. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Also had daily visits from bears. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.

Mike was an amazing host. Sending an item needed within hours. Also giving recommendations for local activities. The house was great. Definitely steep roads, but that is common in the area. No issues with navigating in the summer.

We had a peaceful and memorable stay! The house is located in a quiet mountain neighborhood and had everything we needed, so there was no need to contact the host. One of the most exciting parts of our stay was watching wildlife—especially a mother black bear and her three cubs who strolled across our parking lot and the street. We knowingly left a pizza outside on our deck, hoping they’d come by. In the morning, one of them did—and we got to watch and record the moment from inside the house. It was such a fun and unique experience! The steep roads added to the adventure, and our kids really enjoyed the swimming pool nearby (less than 3 miles away). Highly recommended for nature lovers and families!
